Corey Davis for Heisman? WMU thinks so

And has the website to prove it

There’s probably no hotter team right now than Western Michigan. In some respects they are the Hansel of the MAC if not the entire college football landscape. So hot, right now. And in true Fleckian WMU leadership, you strike when the iron is hot. In this case, by launching a Corey Davis for Heisman Campaign.

In case you haven’t been trolling around the internets today, and shame on you if you haven’t spent your day off looking at a screen, you may have missed that the web’s newest addition is CoreyDavis84Heisman.com where you can go and check out 84’s highlight reel, photos, preseason awards, and what experts are saying. Here’s what one had to say...

Achievement unlocked: Make a Heisman hype website in all of your bloggy goodness. See, Mom, I told you this wasn’t a waste of time.

In all seriousness, I was critical of Fleck when he first arrived in Kalamazoo back on the Pylon. I can admit when I was wrong. I hate to admit it, but he outsmarted us all, and this is a good example of that. Coaches on the cutting edge are always seen as the oddity and the first one through the line is always battered and bloody when the war is over. But kudos to Coach Fleck and the rest of the WMU Broncos for turning hype and hyperbole into wins in recruiting and now on the field. Can they turn it in to hardware? That website seems to think so.
