2017 Jalen Walker talks Recruitment

Class of 2017 Versatile ATH Jalen Walker talks his recruitment, senior season and more.

Walker and his Carmel Greyhounds pulled off a thriller against Center Grove in the 6A IHSAA State Tournament. "It was the most amazing feeling I’ve ever had playing football." Walker said, "After coming up short two years in a row it was great coming out on top in my senior season."

Walker is receiving much interest in the MAC, "right now I have been in contact with Ball State, Ohio, Miami of Ohio and Western Michigan." Walker is not sure exactly when he will make a decision but he does have some things he will look at going into the decision "There are a few things I’m looking at, school and best fit in the program, proximity plays a role, but they are all close so that is good." Walker added, "I have good relationships with all of the coaching staffs and all have great football programs, I look forward to visiting them in the next couple weeks."

While speaking to Walker’s High School Head Coach, John Hebert he had a lot to say about Walker.

"He is an amazing leader and person in general, he works hard in everything he does, he wants to win just as much or more than the coaching staff." Hebert said. "As far as his talent, he has a knack for making plays when needed, he senses when the team needs it and he gets the job done, I could go on and on."

Walker is a very explosive player, and will be a steal for whomever lands him. Be sure to tune in for future updates.
