Just days after landing commitments from Georgia recruits Khalil Newton, and Michael Robinson, another peach state standout has now committed to Mike Neu and the Ball State football program.
On Wednesday afternoon, former Charlotte pledge Christian Albright announced via his Twitter page that he too will soar with Mike Neu, and the Cardinals:

“I chose Ball State because the biggest thing to me was when I went on my official there all of the recruits had a great relationship with each other and we all gelled really well. I also felt this was the best place to suit my academic and athletic needs.” Albright stated to Hustle Belt soon after his commitment.
While he really liked what Ball State had to offer on and off the football field, the Cardinals coaching staff also played a huge role in his decision to switch up his commitment.
“You can really tell the coaching staff up there cares about you and will push you to reach your full potential. I also believe that with this class coming in we can do really big things in the MAC.” He said of Neu, and his crew of assistants coaches.
Considered the 128th strong-side defensive end, and 2,569th overall prospect in the class of 2017, according to the 247Sports Composite Rankings, Albright, a two-star prospect, also picked up scholarship offers from the likes of Rutgers, Army and Samford before finally deciding on calling Muncie, Indiana his next home.
A week from national signing day the Ball State recruiting class now sits at 24 commits. Of those recruits, nine future Cardinals hail from the state of Georgia.
