Western Michigan left it all on the field in the Cotton Bowl on Monday afternoon, however they came up just short.
As if WMU fans weren’t excited enough about the future ahead, they landed yet another playmaker on the offensive side of the ball.
2-star RB/WR Kaiser Carleton committed to Western Michigan shortly after the conclusion of the Cotton Bowl.
He once was committed to Eastern Michigan however he has favored WMU for quite a while, and visited at least four times over the summer.
Hustle Belt caught up with Carleton shortly after he announced his decision:
“WMU is the most elite school in the nation...not only for football but the people and environment is amazing and coach Fleck is one of the best in the country. He makes everything energetic and makes everything feel like a family atmosphere and that's exactly what I'm looking for and I am very excited to be a Bronco.”
Look for Carleton to do a little bit of everything on offense for WMU. He isn’t a power back like Jarvion Franklin so he should complement their current personnel rather well. Instead Carleton is shifty and thrives when he is in space, making defenders miss. He also does well catching the ball out of the backfield and can even line up at receiver at times.
