Toledo Basketball Plays Tuesday For a Good Cause

Toledo heads down the road to Findlay for charity

Basketball season is getting an early start as the Toledo Rockets are set to take on the Findlay Oilers in an exhibition game Tuesday night.

According this tweet from the Rockets, the game is for hurricane relief.

It should be a fun game. Both teams averaged over 80 points apiece last season. Toledo lost two of their best players from a year ago, so it will also be a chance to get a sneak peak at the Rockets new look.

The Oilers are picked to win their conference and I wouldn’t be surprised if there are quite a few fans in attendance. It’s a 45 minute drive down I 75 for Toledo fans. It’s the rare chance for Findlay fans to see a division 1 team on their home court.

100% of ticket sales go to hurricane relief. Tip-off is at 8 p.m.
