4 games and half of them feature Big Ten opponents.
Lipscomb Lady Bisons at Ball State Cardinals
- Tipoff: 7p.m. EST
- Where: Worthen Arena, Muncie
- Watch: ESPN3
- Listen: Muncie Sports Station 102.9
The Cardinals are 2-0 so far in non-conference play. Moriah Monaco leads the Cardinals with 19.5 points per contest and has hit on 8 of 17 three point attempts. Carmen Grande is picking up where she left off last season and has 19 assists in the first two games. She is also scoring 15.5 points per clip.
The Lady Bisons are led by Loren Cagle with 18 points and 6.5 rebounds per contest.
Miami RedHawks at Purdue Boilermakers
- When: Wednesday, Nov. 15, 7 p.m
- Where: Mackey Arena, West Lafayette, Ind.
- Watch: Via Stream on the Big Ten Plus. I spent 15 bucks this month on the conference package because Ohio State Basketball is on it in 4 of their first 5 games, and so far I am pleased with the purchase. It doesn’t give you what’s on the regular Big Ten Network, but it will include both this game and the Iowa, Northern Illinois game.
- Listen: Miami IMG Sports Network
Miami opened the Megan Duffy era with a win by beating Detroit Mercy. Purdue knocked off Central Michigan already this year in a game that frankly CMU could have won. Purdue is a young, but talented squad, so this will be a good test to see where exactly the RedHawks are.
Western Michigan Broncos at Loyola-Chicago Ramblers
- Tipoff: 8 p.m. EST
- Where: Gentile Arena, Chicago
- Watch: ESPN3
- Listen: 1660 AM The Fan, Kalamazoo
The Broncos split a pair of games when they headed Southwest to take on New Mexico and New Mexico State. Up next is a Loyola team that the Broncos beat last season, 65-53. In addition to 3 full time starters returning from last season, Western Michigan has been given a boost by a pair of freshman sisters. Redshirt freshman Jasmyn Walker scored 17 points and grabbed 13 rebounds on the road trip, while her sister, freshman Jordan Walker scored 18.
Northern Illinois Huskies at Iowa Hawkeyes
- Tipoff: 8 p.m. EST
- Where: Iowa Carver-Hawkeye Arena, Iowa City
- Watch: BTN Plus with subscription
- Listen: WSQR 92.9 FM/1180 AM
In a battle of unbeatens, the Huskies travel to Iowa to take on the Hawkeyes. Iowa returns 3 starters from a team that won 20 games last season. Megan Gustafson averaged 18.5 points and 10.1 rebounds for the Hawkeyes last season.
The Huskies picked up where they left off last season, scoring 93 in their opener. Kelly Smith led the team with 26. Mikayla Voigt and Jannae Poisson added 14 each. Paulina Casto got her first career start after sitting out last season with Hodgkins Lymphoma.
