It’s a weeknight in November, so you know what that means, don’t you? WEEKNIGHT MACTION FOR ALL THE GOOD BOYS AND GIRLS. Even the bad ones, too, because there’s no way for cable networks to distinguish your behavior for your viewing privileges. Yet. When it happens, you’ll be forced to watch Pioneer League football for the rest of your days for all those times you took a penny without leaving a penny. THAT ISN’T HOW IT WORKS.
Regardless, until that happens, you get to enjoy MACtion with the rest of us and Tuesday we have a Two-fer for your viewing pleasure.
Akron Zips @ Miami-Ohio Redhawks
MACtion is taking over The Deuce tonight, and we’re not talking about the HBO show about the NYC adult stores. Flip over to ESPN2 as the Zips and RedHawks battle it out in a slugfest for Buckeye State supremacy. Akron is still in the thick of things with the MAC East, controlling their destiny and clinching the division should they beat Ohio next week and win tonight. Miami, this season’s trendy darkhorse team for the MAC East is now on death’s doorstep for a .500 record, needing to win out to finish 6-6. Last year taught us that kind of streak is possible, but it has to start tonight or a sub-.500 mark is a certainty.
Kickoff time: 7:30PM

Bowling Green Falcons @ Buffalo Bulls
At first glance, a battle of a 3-6 Bulls squad and a 2-7 Falcons squad is hardly appointment viewing, but you and I both know that you don’t have anything better to do on a Tuesday night than watch. Help your kids with their homework or do stuff around the house? FOH with that. You’ve got a Buffalo squad that’s capable on offense going against a BG defense that’s porous at best, and a BG offense that seems to be on the upswing with a 44-point outing last week against Kent State. Could we see an old-school shoot out the lights MACtion offensive explosion in the Empire State? For our sake, let’s hope so.
Kickoff time: 7:30PM
Television: ESPNU
Stream: WatchESPN app, pending cable provider
Weather: Partly cloudy, 38°
