While basketball didn’t fare as well as we hoped, hockey is alive and well in the form of the Western Michigan Broncos. After finishing the season ranked 6th in the Pairwise, the Broncos were awarded the 2 seed in the east regional. They take on the 3 seeded Air Force Falcons.

The two teams met twice earlier in the season, with the first game ending in a 5-5 tie, and the Broncos winning the second, 4-1.

This is the Broncos 6th NCAA tournament appearance. If they win tonight it will be the first time they make it past the first round.
