Winning the MAC Baseball earned the Ohio Bobcats a spot in the NCAA tournament. They were selected to play in the Lexington region, only a three and a half hour drive from Athens.

The Bobcats finished the season 31-26, and were the only team out of the MAC to make it to the field of 64. Kentucky finished the season 39-20 and were one of 8 teams out of the SEC that got a bid. This is Ohio’s 16th trip to the NCAA tournament.

The game will take place Friday, at Noon Eastern, and will be televised on ESPN U. It will be played at Cliff Hagan Stadium.

The other two teams in the double elimination regional are Indiana and North Carolina State. They play at 7pm the first night.

The Bobcats are heating up at the right time, entering the tournament as winners of 9 out of their last 10 games.
