When it comes to Hollywood actors, you can choose one of any number of A-listers to demonstrate versatility and memorable roles. For my dollar, there is no one better at both than John Goodman.
If you’re my age (mid-30s) your first intro to John Goodman was the patriarch on Roseanne, but you could pick any number of roles as the one that he’s known best for. There’s the right wing veteran who loves his Jewish faith and bowling. There’s the American who assumed the throne. There’s the animated monster that changes the scare game. Any would be good choices.
