The Wisconsin Badgers and the Kent State Golden Flashes are set to play in 2019, according to a report from FBSchedules.com filed Thursday morning.

The agreement was reportedly discovered during a public information request involving the University of North Texas, whose previously scheduled 2019 matchup with the Badgers appears to have been moved to a tentaive 2025 date to make room for the Kent State game.

The KSU-Wisconsin game is scheduled for Oct. 5, 2019, although agreements must be made between all three schools involved, per reports.

Neither Wisconsin or Kent State have released an official statement indicating the contract has been agreed upon, but Wisconsin acknowledges the potential future matchup in its media guide.

Assuming the game goes on as reported, this would complete the out-of-conference slate for Kent State’s 2019 schedule. The Flashes are tentatively scheduled to face Arizona State, Kennesaw State and Auburn.

Kent State is the second MAC squad the Badgers will face in their three-game out-of-conference schedule, with a tentative match against Central Michigan scheduled for Sept. 7.
