A look at the 2017 Central Michigan Chippewas football depth chart

There’s position changes and battles galore for the Chippewas as they head into their tilt vs. Rhode Island.

The Central Michigan Chippewas will begin their season against the Rhode Island Rams tonight at 7 p.m. Eastern time. The game will be streamed on ESPN3.

There’s a couple storylines to look forward to for the Chips, as they have a quarterback controversey for the first time in four years and will be shifting around a lot of key pieces, especially on defense.

Wednesday night, the game notes for the matchup were released and it contained were some interesting changes from last season and even from spring camps.
