The Buffalo Bulls had a tough 2016 campaign, as they cycled between quarterbacks and struggled to find consistent playmakers on defense.
Those trials unearthed some gems, such as Tyree Jackson, Johnathan Hawkins and Khalil Hodge, who all will seek to lead the Bulls to a potentially good 2017 campaign.
The Bulls start their season on the road tonight againt Minnesota, a team with new leadership in PJ Fleck, the former Western Michigan head coach. When Buffalo and WMU met last season, it wasn’t pretty; the Bulls lost 41-0.
