Toledo Rockets at Miami Hurricanes: How to watch, game time, stream, open thread

National stage and national eyes for the Rockets to announce their presence with authority

For the Toledo Rockets, it’s been a waiting game until it was their time to take the Mid-American Conference by the reigns. It seems like every season in recent memory, there has always been a team just a small bit better, more talented, or more opportunistic to grab the conference championship. This year, Toledo is the class of the MAC and has been the presumptive favorite since last season ended to carry the banner for the conference throughout the fall.

To Toledo’s credit, it was an honor well-earned and today will be well-tested. A strong offensive team led by Logan Woodside takes their show on the road against the 14th-ranked Miami-Florida Hurricanes. The Rockets come into today’s contest at 3-0, fresh off a shootout win over Tulsa. For Miami, it’s been a weather-impacted season with Hurricane Irma, and the Canes come in at 1-0, after a scheduled bye week last weekend and a cancelation the weekend before.

It’s the chance for Toledo to make a statement on a national stage against a name opponent that’s highly-ranked in a tough road contest. Those are the kinds of games that nearly each and every one of the truly special MAC squads in recent memory have been able to take advantage of. For Toledo, it’s their time.
