Saturday, the Cardinals welcome the UAB Blazers into Scheumann Stadium for their home-opener where the locals will get a first look at the 2017 Cards. It’s also a good experiment to test the resiliency and grit of this Cardinals team after their premier last week.

If Ball State can put together a solid performance and bring home a victory, then the future remains bright in Muncie. A loss and an 0-2 start and it’s hard to see the path to a winning season. There’s much on the line today.
