Week 11 College Football Television Schedule, Streaming, Open Thread

It’s put up or shut up time as the playoff begins to take shape

We’re in that glorious time where college football and college basketball overlap. Lots of MAC eyes were on Morgantown, WV last night as the Buffalo Bulls knocked off the West Virginia Mountaineers. There might be some more hot upset MACtion when the Ball State Cardinals take on the Purdue Boilermakers today. But don’t forget about your first love, MAC football.

This hasn’t been like recent years where a MAC squad has made national waves and was knocking on the door of the New Years Six Bowls, though an argument could at least be started about Buffalo at 9-1 being at least in the conversation. However, there is still MACtion to be had as we sort out the conference race. Though it’s November and not mid-week, there are two games on the schedule today, neither of which have conference title implications, but both of which are MAC football and that’s good enough for me.

Nationally, it isn’t the weekend we had last week with two top-10 matchups, but there are some sneaky good games to keep an eye on. It’s likely the last remaining significant test for the Clemson Tigers, the Alabama Crimson Tide faces a defense in the Mississippi State Bulldogs that may be able to hold the Tide to 50, and the Notre Dame Fighting Irish are rocking the green jerseys. It’s still football, season, y’all, and it’s slipping away one Saturday at a time.
