The Eagles down the Terriers.

Swoop says you should have been at the game today

Eastern Michigan played host to Boston University today. It was the fourth meeting between the two teams. Going into the game, Eastern Michigan lead the series 2-1.

Eastern Michigan was coming off a rather disheartening loss against Duke. Boston University is coming off a 71-61 against Albany.

Eastern Michigan started the game pretty cold with a 38.2% shooting percentage. When the buzzer sounded at the end of the first half, they would find themselves leading 32 to 26. It could have been much worse for the Terriers if the Eagles had been shooting at their normal percentage.

The second half started off cold for the Eagles and then they started to warm up. They ended up shooting 72% in the second half. They also had an overall 91.7% at the free throw line.

The Eagles would be led in scoring by Elijah Minnie with 28 points. James Thompson IV had a double-double with 14 rebounds and 14 points. He had a total of 10 defensive rebounds. The Terriers would be led in scoring by Max Mahoney with 18 points.

NOTE: I realize I was remiss in reporting the score. Eastern won 80-62.

The Eagles find themselves traveling to Piscataway, NJ where they will face up against Rutgers. Their next home game is against Detroit-Mercy on November 24.
