Northern Illinois at Eastern Michigan - In Pictures

A senior day where Tim Bond makes Eastern Michigan history

I’m still feeling the effects of my adventures in the medical community, so I wasn’t 100% sure if I wanted to go to the game yesterday. Fortunately, I did because I got to witness a memorable one.

It started out as a nice back and forth game and then Eastern Michigan imposed its will. At halftime, Eastern Michigan would have an 8 point lead. When the second half started, Eastern Michigan went on a 15-5 run to take command of the game. It would go on to win the game handily by a score of 82-53.

The Eastern Michigan scoring was lead by Elijah Minnie with 26 points while Northern Illinois was led by Eugene German with 16 points. Senior Day would prove to be special for lone senior Tim Bond has he recorded 3 steals which would move him into the all time EMU steals list ahead of Earl Boykins. He also recorded his 1,000th point.

Anyway, pictures are in order.
