Both teams are led by guards. The RedHawks have Lauren Dickerson, a 5’3 guard who is averaging 19.8 points per game, while the Dukes are led by Chassidy Omogrosso, who is 5’4 and averaging 16.8.

The Dukes are a taller team that does a good job rebounding. A place where the RedHawks might be able to take advantage, however, is in the turnover department. First year coach Megan Duffy has upped the tempo on defense, and uses a variety of players. The turn around of this team is nothing short of amazing.

On the Dukes bench is Dan Burt, who has reached the post season in all four seasons at Duquesne, and made it to the second round of the NCAA tournament a few years ago.

This game should be a battle between two quality teams.
