If you missed the CIT action in Ypsilanti, we’ve got you covered. The Eagles of Eastern Michigan hosted the Purple Eagles of Niagara at the Convocation Center last night. After Eastern Michigan overcame a 4-2 deficit in the opening minutes of the game, they never really looked back.
The Eagles scoring was led by Elijah Minnie with 29 points. Tim Bond nearly got a triple double with 11 points, 12 rebounds and 8 assists. The Eagles managed to hold the Purple Eagles to 65 points. The Purple Eagles scoring was led by Kahlil Dukes with 16 points. When the buzzer sounded, Eastern Michigan would win 83-65.
