NCAA Softball Bracket: Ohio heads to Knoxville for NCAA Regionals

A Friday date awaits with JMU in Big Orange country

The 2018 Mid-American Conference Champion Ohio University Bobcats softball team (38-15) will head to Knoxville, Tenn. for the 2018 NCAA Regionals. The Bobcats will face off against the James Madison Dukes (42-12) on Friday, May 18 at 3 p.m. and can be seen on ESPN3.

The double-elimination tournament begins May 18 and will go through May 20, with the winner advancing to Super Regionals May 24-27.

Also in the bracket are the tenth-seeded Tennessee Volunteers (45-12) and Monmouth (32-14). The Bobcats and James Madison met earlier in the year in Harrisonburg, Va. for the JMU Invitational. The Bobcats fell to JMU in the first game, and then defeated the Dukes, 9-7, in nine innings in their second matchup.
