Mid-American Bandwagon Podcast, ep. 23: Football winds down, basketball picks up, and we’re here for it all!

Happy Friday everybody! Another week, another episode of the pod. Thanks for stopping by!

To open up this weeks’ pod, Zach and Sam discuss the Week 6 football cancellations and some news regarding the upcoming football championship game. Buffalo has cemented their place in Detroit, and we’ll find out who they’ll be playing this Saturday. To close out the A block, the boys highlight our weekly Twitter responses - shout out to the folks who responded!

In the B block, our hosts break down the results from week 5 of the football season and take a look towards week 6. Which teams are trending up? Who’s trending down? Zach and Sam give their thoughts, while also touching on which teams’ impressed them the most this past week. The boys give their picks for the final week of the season, with special emphasis on a few big match up’s (we’re looking at you, Ball State and Western Michigan).

To finish out the show, the boys give some highlights from the week in the world of MAC basketball. On the men’s side, Buffalo and Bowling Green played a great game to open up conference play, while Central Michigan continues to impress on the women’s side. It’s going to be a great season on the hardwood in the MAC, and things are just starting to heat up!
