Happy championship week everybody! Boy, do we have a full pod for you all this week.
To open up this week’s show, Zach and Sam break down some news from the week that was. Isaiah McKoy and Caleb Huntley are turning pro, Treshawn Heyward is in the transfer portal, and Dustin Crum is returning for another year at Kent State (much to the chagrin of defensive coordinators across the MAC). We break down all of this, as well as the ongoing saga of David Moore at Central Michigan.
Next up, the boys break down the final week of the regular season in football. Northern Illinois and Eastern Michigan both look to be headed in the right direction, while Western Michigan and Central Michigan end the season with disappointing performances. We break down all of the week 6 match up’s, highlighting the crazy ending between Ball State and Western Michigan in Muncie.
In the B block, we give a full breakdown of this weeks’ championship game between Buffalo and Ball State. Who has the advantage when Buffalo has the ball? What about when the Cardinals offense is on the field? The boys give their thoughts on the various match up’s in the game, as well as their predictions for how they see this one playing out.
To close out this weeks’ show, we move to the hardwood and break down the past week in men’s and women’s hoops. On the men’s side, Zach and Sam talk about the teams that have impressed them thus far, and which teams have disappointed. On the women’s side, Central Michigan continued their hot start to the season with a nice non-conference win over Cincinnati.
