Mid-American Bandwagon podcast, ep. 25: Happy Holidays, everybody!

This week, the boys recap Ball State’s upset of Buffalo in the MAC Championship game, cover some transfer news, and break down the week that was in #MACsketball

Happy Holidays everybody! We hope everyone has had a great week - we’re excited to bring you this weeks’ pod.

To kick off episode 25, Zach and Sam discuss the news of the week in the MAC universe. Ball State and Buffalo both learn their bowl game destinations, some good and bad transfer news coming out of Central Michigan, and finally an end to the ongoing David Moore suspension (emphasis on finally). To close out the first segment, the boys take a look at the First team All-MAC squads, as well as give their end of season awards as we look back at the season that was.

In the B block, the boys break down the MAC championship game. Ball State surprised everybody with their 38-28 upset of Buffalo, and Zach and Sam give their thoughts on why. Special shout out to the Ball State defense, who did what no other unit had been able to do this year and slowed down the Bulls’ potent running attack.

After the championship game breakdown, our hosts take a quick look at the results of the recent Early National Signing day. Which football programs in the MAC pulled in the best classes? Zach and Sam give their thoughts.

To close out the show, the boys recap the past week on the hardwood. The highlights included a few near misses on the women’s side of the fence, and a number of close match-up’s in conference game on the men’s side. Hoops season will really pick up here over the next few weeks, and the boys are HERE for it. We’re really excited to see how this season plays out.
