In Pictures: Eastern Michigan Defeats Toledo for first MAC win in 2019/20

Eastern Michigan gets a badly-needed win against the Rockets.

After finishing the non-conference part of their schedule at 10-3, Eastern Michigan would go on to lost their first seven games in the MAC.

Granted, there have been some close losses but a close loss is still a loss. They were looking for a win and they found themselves facing 11-10 Toledo.

The first half was pretty back and forth (or so it seemed) and Eastern would find themselves down by 1 point when the buzzer sounded.

They must have made some adjustments in the locker room because they came out with some energy. After some back and forth in the first 6 minutes, Eastern Michigan would tie the game at 40 after a three pointer by Yeikson Montero. After Noah Morgan dropped a free throw, Eastern Michigan would not look back. They would end up winning by four points.

The Eagles return to the Convocation Center on Tuesday night when they face the 14-8 Buffalo Bulls.
