Well everyone, it’s Friday. We made it! Friday also means it’s time for the next episode of the Mid-American Bandwagon podcast, and we have a good one for you this week.
In the opening segment, Zach and Sam break down some of the preseason awards watch lists and highlight the MAC players who were recognized. The boys also discuss some recent transfer news, as well as the MAC’s decision to delay the start of fall Olympic sports.
Next up, the boys react to some Twitter responses from last week’s question, where we asked our fans to tell us their favorite MACtion moments.
To close the show, Jeremy Guy and Eric Kwiatkowski from the Call to MACtion podcast join us to discuss their favorite aspects of working for a Division 1 conference, the best part of hosting a podcast, and a range of other topics.
As a thank you to the great support we’ve received as we’ve started the podcast, we decided to release and record a bonus episode for our fans this week. We hope you guys enjoy!
In this special episode, Zach and Sam introduce what will be a new, ongoing segment: the Mount Rushmore’s of the MAC. Over the next few months, Zach and Sam will be joined by guests affiliated with each MAC school to discuss the most influential people in each schools’ athletic history.
To kick the series off, the boys are joined by Hustle Belt creative director James Jimenez to discuss the history of Central Michigan athletics. Listen in to hear who they pick for the Mount Rushmore of Mount Pleasant, and take to Twitter to let us know if you agree or disagree!
We can’t thank everyone enough for the support you’ve shown us thus far. We hope you enjoy this bonus segment as a special thank you.
Listen to us on the go and subscribe to us on those sites to get updates whenever the podcast goes live every week!
