Happy New Year everybody! 2020 threw us some curveballs, and we’re excited for the possibilities of 2021. Hopefully everyone ended 2020 on a good note! We’re here to help you into the new year with episode 26 of the podcast.
As usual, Zach and Sam open up the show with the news from the week that was in the MAC universe. There was a lot that happened this week - some changes to the basketball schedule, a few Buffalo Bulls declaring for the NFL, and Ball State landing a transfer WR from a Power 5 program. To close out the first segment, our hosts recap the Twitter question of the week and give a few shout outs.
In the B block, the boys recap Buffalo’s 17-10 victory over Marshall in the Camelia Bowl, as well as preview the Ball State-San Jose State match up in the Arizona Bowl. Zach and Sam discuss the great performance from both the Buffalo defense and Kevin Marks, both of whom stepped up in the absence of Jarret Patterson.
To close out the show, the boys recap the week that was in the hardwood (spoiler alert: not much happened). With that said, our hosts give some games to watch for this week, as well as some storylines to follow as hoops season gets into full swing.
As always, thanks for stopping by this week folks. We really appreciate the support. You can listen to this weeks’ episode at the link below, or on any of your favorite podcast platforms. Be sure to follow us on Twitter @MAC_Bandwagon to make sure you don’t miss anything!
