We made it through another week folks, happy Friday! With hoops season over with, this week is one of transition on the Bandwagon pod. Our goal this week is to catch up on all the spring sports we’ve missed out on over the past few months, as we were so focused on basketball. We’re catching up right along with all of you!

To begin our deep dive, the boys take a look at the baseball standings and results thus far. Miami and Ball State have had very strong starts to the season, while pre-season MAC favorite Central Michigan finds itself sitting in sixth place. Will the Chippewas be able to right the ship and climb back to the top?

In women’s volleyball, the season is wrapping up, and Bowling Green and Western Michigan have proven to be the top two teams in the conference. With the conference tournament approaching this weekend, the Falcons and Broncos have claimed the top two seeds, while also dominating the MAC volleyball post-season awards list.

Men’s and women’s soccer have both experienced some COVID related pauses, but the conference members have carried on to the best of their abilities. Bowling Green has been strong on both the men’s and women’s side, while the Akron men are off to another strong start and a national ranking.

We’re trying to figure out the best format for covering these spring sports moving forward. If you have any suggestions, reach out to us on Twitter! We want to provide the coverage that our listeners want to hear. If we missed something, please let us know at @MAC_Bandwagon.

As always, thanks for stopping by folks. Make sure to subscribe on your favorite podcast platform, and have a great weekend!
