Happy Friday folks! We made it through another week. It was a busy week in the MAC, so let’s get right to it!

In this weeks’ news segment, the boys cover some transfer news in the hoops world. After the conference changed the intra-conference transfer rule last week, a few players decided to take advantage. KJ Walton announced his transfer from Ball State to Akron, while Tyler Cochran committed to Ball State after spending the last two years at Northern Illinois. On the women’s side, Ball State all-time great Oshlynn Brown announced that she would be finishing her college career at Rutgers.

Leading off this weeks’ spring sports round up, the boys break down the week that was in both baseball and softball. On the baseball diamond, Central Michigan seems to be rounding into form, while Miami and Ball State have really separated themselves from the rest of the pack in softball.

It was a great week for both soccer programs at Bowling Green, as the Falcons captured both the men’s and women’s conference crown. On the men’s side, the Falcons captured their first conference crown since 1997 with an OT victory over Northern Illinois. Their reward is a first round match up with Monmouth in next week’s NCAA Tournament. Not to be outdone, the BG women knocked off Ball State to capture their third straight MAC championship, and they will face Ole Miss in the NCAA tournament. Best of luck to both squads!

In Swimming and Diving, Miami dominated the men’s competition to capture their second MAC championship in three years. There was a huge upset on the women’s side, with Buffalo capturing their first championship in program history and knocking off seven time defending champion Akron in the process.

To close out the show, the boys discuss the (now confirmed) rumors of Tony Barbee being named the next head men’s basketball coach at Central Michigan. Will he be able to turn the Chippewas program around? The boys give their thoughts!
