For tons of NFL hopefuls, this is the biggest week of the year.

College football players from across the country will watch this weekend's NFL draft, hoping to get their name called. Players from the MAC are no exception!

On this weeks’ pod, Zach and Sam break down the possibilities for the top 10 MAC prospects in this year's draft class.

Before we get to the draft, the boys kicked off this weeks show with a recap of this past weeks’ MAC news.

First up is Ohio PG Jason Preston declaring for the NBA draft, while also maintaining his college eligibility. He’ll have until July 19 to decide if he’s entering the draft or returning for his senior year. Elsewhere in hoops, Central Michigan officially announced Tony Barbee as their next head basketball coach. The boys give their thoughts.

Believe it or not, there were a trio of MAC champions crowned this past weekend. The Ball State women’s tennis team captured the MAC championship while winning their 21st game in a row, while Western Michigan captured their 26th MAC crown on the men’s side of the tennis competition. With all due respect to both of those programs, neither can hold a candle to the Kent State women’s golf team, who captured their 22nd consecutive conference championship. That is an unprecedented streak, and one that we won’t see replicated for a very long time. Congrats to the Golden Flashes!

Moving into our draft coverage, the boys break down the top MAC prospects and where they might land.

Who will be the first MAC player off the board? Who will have the biggest immediate impact? The boys answer these questions and more. While doing so, Zach and Sam discuss the top 10 MAC prospects in the class of 2021. Guys like Jarret Patterson and Dwayne Eskridge have gotten a lot of press, but what about Isaiah McKoy? Tommy Doyle? Malcom Koonce? These are all guys that have the ability to make an impact if drafted into the right situation.

Thanks for stopping by this week folks. Come by next week to hear our reactions to the draft, as well as to get caught up on the remaining spring sports! In the meantime, have a great weekend!
