After going the offensive line route with the first three commits to the 2015 class, Ball State picked up a verbal from a potential deep threat with commit No. 4.
Syracuse, Indiana wide receiver prospect Clayton Cook committed to the Cardinals back in mid-May, nearly a full month after the Cardinals picked up their third commit.
At 6-foot-2, 185 pounds, Cook has a solid frame that already makes him bigger than many MAC receivers. His hands and speed make him a solid prospect for the Cardinals high-octane offense which turned into one of the top passing attacks in the nation in 2013 thanks to talented wideouts.
Considered a Top-30 prospect in the state of Indiana, Cook is another great in-state grab for a Cardinals program on the rise.
Repeated attempts to contact Cook for an interview were unsuccessful.
