2015 Ball State Football Recruiting: TE Danny Pinter Commits To Cardinals

Pete Lembo, and the Ball State Cardinals football program picked up another verbal commitment from a class of 2015 recruit on Saturday. According to his coach, and multiple reports, senior tight end Danny Pinter of Adams High in South Bend, Indiana is the latest prospect to give Lembo, and the Cardinal staff a pledge.

A former Grand Valley State verbal pledge, Danny now gives the Cardinals coaching staff 20 commits.

"Grand Valley was great to me and understood. My brother goes to Ball State, and I had gone to their football camp. I went on a couple visits there, and stayed in contact with the coaches. Then on of their tight ends quit, and a spot came open for me. It was an easy decision. There are a lot of positives." The 6'4 245 pound Pinter stated to the South Bend Tribune after his commitment to Ball State

Seeing time at tight end, defensive end, and also long snapper, Danny was named First Team All-Conference, and Honorable Mention All-State after putting together a very stellar senior season for Adams High. On offense the two-star prospect hauled in 27 passes for right under 500 yards, and two touchdowns, while also accounting for 66 total tackles, and eight sacks on defense for the 5-5 Eagles.
