2015 Bowling Green Football Recruiting: DT Eddy Wilson de-commits from the Falcons, commits to Purdue

Bowling Green's recruiting class lost a commitment from defensive tackle Eddy Wilson from West Bloomfield, Michigan. Wilson announced on Saturday night that we would instead be attending Purdue.

Wilson chose Purdue over offers from Akron, Ball State, Bowling Green, Central Michigan, Eastern Michigan, and Tennessee State.

GoldandBlack.com reported that Wilson was offer a scholarship from Purdue while on an official visit this weekend.

Shortly after the announcement, HustleBelt reached out to Wilson and asked him why he decided to commit to Purdue.

"I felt at home and I like the coaching staff."

Wilson is a talented player and is a big loss for BG. I would not be surprised to see them try to sign another defensive lineman to fill this class out. With the loss of Wilson, the Falcons now have 17 verbal commitments but with the recent addition of RB Matt Domer the Falcons will be just fine come NSD.
