Bowling Green hosted six recruits this weekend for their official visits. At the time, just one of the six was uncommitted. Well that has changed with the commitment of Blake Lucky, who visited BG this weekend.
Lucky is the 19th commitment for coach Babers and his staff as their 1st recruiting class continues to get stronger.
Lucky announced his decision on his Twitter account Saturday night.
So blessed and humbled to say that I have committed to Bowling Green State University! I can't wait to… http://t.co/3hE9xFktKp— Blake Lucky (@luckyblake13) January 25, 2015
It's fair to say that Blake enjoyed his visit to BG, as he told Hustle Belt in a recent interview.
"The visit was awesome! Everyone I met was very friendly and family like. Campus is the perfect size as well which I like."
Blake ultimately chose BG because of the family atmosphere among other reasons.
"Everybody here treated me so good, it wasn't a show put on either it's really how they do it here. It's a big family atmosphere. BG felt like home in so many ways these past two days which made me feel good. I have family two hours away so that's a plus too."
Blake is hopeful that he'll be able to get on the field early in his career at Bowling Green and looks forward to winning a MAC Championship during his time as a Falcon.
