Central Michigan's 2015 recruiting class got a huge boost this evening with the verbal commitment of talented S Tyrone Miller.
Miller, the 6-foot 178 pound safety, chose the Chippewas over offers from bowling Green, Buffalo, EMU, Indiana State, Toledo, and WMU. After a strong senior season, Miller started to receive some interest from Michigan and Michigan State.
Miller announced his decision on his Twitter page Wednesday night.
In the summer when we interviewed Tyrone, he told us that Bowling Green, Central Michigan, and Western Michigan were the three schools recruiting him the most. At that time Tyrone also talked to us about what he's looking for in a college.
"Just a great college town, a family based school so I can feel like I'm at home, close to home but it doesn't really matter, good academics, a great coaching staff, and I have to love the DB coach."
Miller is great in press coverage and look for him to compete for playing time immediately upon his arrival in Mt. Pleasant. Check out his Hudl highlights for yourself here:
