2015 Central Michigan Football Recruiting: RB Romello Ross

After losing a dynamic running back such as Zurlon Tipton, Dan Enos wasted little time trying to find the next anchor of his backfield. The first verbal commit of CMU's 2015 class was Western International High School (Detroit) 20star running back Romello Ross. Ross committed to the Chippewas way back in mid-March, kicking off a wave of CMU commits.

Unfortunately, Ross couldn't be reached for an interview for this piece.

At 5-foot-11, 180 pounds Ross isn't a bruising back, but he's got good speed, agile feet and seems to explode through the holes. More importantly probably, he's a Michigan native. Something CMU has been doing a fantastic job of lately is going after the overlooked talent in the state of Michigan. He's one of eight players to commit to the team this year.
