Dan Enos leaving CMU to take the offensive coordinator job at Arkansas sent shock waves across the MAC. Many recruits were left shocked, Tyrone Miller was one of them.
Miller told HustleBelt recently that he found out about the news on his own and Western Michigan was actually the first school to reach out to him.
When we talked to Miller, he had this to say about his commitment status.
"As of right now I still am (committed to CMU), I'm going to see what happens."
Miller originally chose the Chippewas over offers from Buffalo, EMU, Indiana State, Toledo, and WMU. The 3-star defensive back is widely considered to be the crowned jewel of CMU's recruiting class to date.
Since the news broke, Tyrone says he's heard from Bowling Green, Miami, Wake Forest, Western Michigan, as well as Wyoming.
Miller is certainly keeping his options open as he tells us he plans on visiting Wyoming this weekend. Although he doesn't have an offer as of right now, I'd expect that to change soon.
It will be interesting to see what Miller and the other CMU commits decide to do in the days leading up to Signing Day. Stay tuned to our Twitter account @MAC_Crootin for the latest news.
