The Eastern Michigan Eagles look to bounce back from a 17-3 loss to Old Dominion as they travel to Spartan Stadium to take on No. 11 Michigan State.
The last time the Eagles traveled to East Lansing, it looked like an upset over the No. 20/21 ranked Spartans was within reach. EMU led 7-3 at the half, but some crucial dropped passes and a couple late scoring drives were enough to put MSU on top 23-7.
This is the tenth meeting between the two teams since 1898, with Michigan State holding a perfect 9-0 record. Current MSU head coach Mark Dantonio is 2-0 against the Eagles.
