EMU Eagles at Florida Gators: Gametime, TV, Streaming, Radio, Odds and More

Jonathan Daniel

Fresh off of a close win at home vs. Morgan State in Week 1, the Eastern Michigan Eagles (1-0) hit the road today to take on the Florida Gators (0-0).

This is the second time these two teams have met, with Florida winning their first meeting in 2004, 49-10. This is going to be a tough test for EMU, even against an underperforming Florida team. The Eagles will need to avoid costly turnovers and get some good play out of the quarterback position to have a chance in this one. Both quarterbacks who played in EMU's first game struggled, and that was against an FCS defense, not an SEC defense.

Either way, don't expect EMU and first-year head coach Chris Creighton to just roll over. The Eagles have been preaching they have a new toughness about them, and today is their chance to prove it.
