2014 Eastern Michigan Recruiting: CB Tim Gordon Commits to EMU

Tim Gordon, a defensive back from Minnesota, decommits from Northern Iowa to go bowling with Chris Creighton and the rest of the Eagles team. No, not that kind of bowling.

After initially committing to Northern Iowa, Tim Gordon changes his mind and decides to be an Eagle this upcoming season.

Currently not rated on 247sports and receiving only two stars on Scout.com, Gordon isn't the highest-rated defensive back out there, but is still a good pick up. At 5'11 and 170 lbs, Gordon's not as big as other EMU commit Jason Beck, but his highlight tape from his senior year of high school shows that Gordon could be a very good fit for the Eagles program.

Gordon is from Saint Paul, Minn. and was receiving other offers from UNI, Colgate, Coastal Carolina, North Dakota, North Dakota State and South Dakota State.

Head coach Chris Creighton has made a lot of progress in these final weeks of recruiting for 2014. Maybe it's because he said that he'd take his team bowling.
