Cameron Mcleod signs UDFA deal with the Houston Texans


The big defensive lineman out of Ohio has singed an UDFA deal with the Texans. He is the first Bobcat to pick up a deal. .

UPDATE: D.J. Lynch is with the Patriots, not the Chiefs


UPDATE: D.J. Lynch will actually be at the New England Patriots mini-camp and has not signed with the Kansas City Chiefs.

BGSU product, DJ Lynch, has signed an UDFA deal with the Chiefs. The linebacker only had nine starts as he battle injuries all year in 2014. He had 39 tackles on the season including eight big ones in the MAC title game. He will join fellow former MAC star Da'Ron Brown who was drafted in the 7th round.

Cameron Stingily signs UDFA deal with the Pittsburgh Steelers


The big bruising back out of NIU has found a new home. The Steelers have picked up Stingily as they add another former MAC player to their ranks.

Andy Phillips has been invited to the Green Bay Packers Rookie Camp


Phillips, a former left guard at CMU, has signed a UDFA deal with the Packers. He started all 13 games for the Chips at LG and has started 42 straight games. he was named First Team ALL-MAC in 2014.

Jason Wilson signs with the Dallas Cowboys


The CB out of CMU has been picked up by the America's team. He started 11 games in 2014 and finished fifth on the team in total tackles with 51. He also recorded seven pass breakups.

Deon Butler has signed with the Detroit Lions


Detroit is signing former MAC players left and right. Butler played in 13 games and started eight of them as he caught 30 passes for 424 yards for CMU.

Tyler Loos signs with the Cleveland Browns


The senior left tackle out of NIU has signed with the Browns. He started all 13 games for the Huskies at LT and was named First Team ALL-MAC for the second consecutive year.

Tyreese Russell signs an UDFA deal with the Detroit Lions


The tight end out of EMU won't have to travel far for his new job. Russell finished 2014 with 39 catches, 523 yards and three touchdowns. Fellow MAC TE Casey Pierce has also signed with the Lions.

Justin Currie signs an UDFA deal with the New York Giants


The former WMU Bronco has signed with the Giants. This safety can control a defense and always seems to be in the right spot. He led the Broncos in total tackles with 105 in 2014.

Casey Pierce signs with the Detroit Lions as an UDFA


The Kent State product is now a member of the Detroit Lions per his twitter account. Pierce was one of the most productive TEs in all of college football last year and looks to make an impact as he stays in MAC territory.
