Northern Illinois still has a long way to go to complete its 2014 recruiting class, but after picking up an oral commitment from Rajshawn Mosley on Monday, the Huskies have at least added a promising prospect at a target area.

Mosley committed to NIU over offers from Toledo, Indiana State and Western Illinois, according to 247Sports. A 2-star recruit (based on 247Sports' composite ranking system), the former Arsenal Technical High School (Indianapolis) end is the No. 25 recruit in the state of Indiana, and the 101st defensive end recruit in the nation.

At 6-foot-3, 240 pounds, Mosley has good size for an edge rusher in the MAC. Judging from his highlight tape he has a good nose for the ball0carrier, and a decent first step, but per usual many of his big plays (read: sacks) came off going completely untouched or just bouncing off an awful block. He does appear to be patient enough to be able to read a play well, something many high schoolers struggle with.

With Mosley's commitment, NIU now has 18 firm commitments with a week to go until national signing day.
