Kent State (0-3, 0-1) heads to Charlottesville to take on the Virginia Cavaliers seeking their first victory for the 2014 season. KSU is coming off a rough 66-0 loss to the Ohio State Buckeyes two weeks ago.
This will be the first time that Kent State has faced Virginia (2-2). The Golden Flashes last win against a Power Conference opponent was a 35-23 victory at No. 15 Rutgers in 2012. Kent State is 11-24 against six teams currently in the Atlantic Coast Conference.
Virginia has played a pretty tough schedule this year with their wins coming against ranked Louisville and Richmond while their losses are at home to ranked UCLA and at ranked BYU. They'll certainly be looking forward to facing an unranked team for once and Kent State will have to bring their best performance in order to compete.
