How to Watch and Listen to the Third Week of MAC Baseball

There just aren't enough live streams of baseball games. Are they really that expensive?

Akron (3-3)

I'm not one to say that "momentum" is a realistic factor in sports, but taking three out of four games last weekend in the Duke Baseball Classic has got to give this team some sort of confidence booster, right?

Central Michigan (2-6)

Have you ever received help from somebody even though you hat them for heckling you the whole time? That's sort of what the Snowbird Classic is. Hey Florida, thanks for the sunshine and baseball field to play on, but you don't have to keep laughing at the Northerners for having crap weather every February; stop rubbing it in our face, will ya?

Kent State (5-2)

The Golden Flashes are coming off of a 4-game win streak after sweeping through their games last weekend. But the big question is which Kent State player(s) will be next week MAC East Player(s) of the Week?

Dan Hayden won his first game for the RedHawks as their head coach last weekend and his team isn't off to a terrible start, either. Despite their record, Jake Romano and Dan Walsh are off to good starts with some good starting pitching from Seth Varner is always nice to grow off of in the early-goings of the season.

Northern Illinois (0-6-1)

Is this a real rivalry, or do these two teams just so happen to meet up almost every year since 2003? Either way, now would be a great time for the Huskies to start, well, you know, winning games?

Another big weekend out of Mitch Longo and I'll make him my #mcm on Twitter or something. Not that I'm into 18-year olds anyway, but still. The kid's a stud.
