Scoreless game heading into the bottom of the fourth, designated hitter Zarley Zalewski hit a triple down the right field line to drive in a pair of runs. Mike Frank retired the next two batters before the Flashes went on a 3-run, 2-out rally to put an end to his day. Three strait hits from Jeff Revesz, Curtis Olvey and Zack Beckner put Kent State ahead 5-0 in the fourth.
Kent State plays again tomorrow at 8 p.m. against the winner of today's Ball State vs. Western Michigan matchup, and Bowling Green will play tomorrow at 9:30 a.m. against the loser of said matchup.
