Hey, they call can't be NAIA opponents. In fairness, at one point EMU wiped away a 10-point Gamecocks lead, but Derek Thompson sank a couple threes to help bring them back into it, and actually led briefly before tapering off.
Daylen Harrison led the way with 14 points and nine rebounds. Glenn Bryant added 13 points. Thompson finished with nine points before fouling out (desperation fouls at the end, mostly). Eastern's next game will be in a tournament they host on Friday, starting with Eastern Illinois.
