The Islanders are more commonly thought of as an NHL team, but they're not playing right now so the feudin' transferred to their college basketball namesake counterparts. The game saw 59 fouls and three technicals - 35 and two of those respectively belonging to A&M-CC. Three men fouled out, and two of them didn't score a point. One of them, Dale Francis, played seven minutes and was 0-1 from the floor. That was his entire line.
Resultantly, Toledo took advantage of all the free throws, making 35 points from the free stripe. Rian Person was 16-for-20 en route to a career-best 30 points. Julius Brown added 16 points and six assists.
The Rockets improved to 2-4 and will travel to a nice little challenge at Cleveland State on Saturday.
