Yikes, kids. WMU had a nice hefty lead on the road - at one point by 25 points - only to see High Point trim it all the way down to a 68-64 deficit with five seconds left. It was clearly too little too late, but still, dudes. Sheesh.
Darius Paul had 10 points and 10 rebounds, keeping his excellent freshman campaign going. Nate Hutcheson led with 19 points and Shayne Whittington contributed 15 points and nine rebounds. WMU outrebounding the Panthers 49-25 probably had something to do with this dominance, ya think?
The road trip continues for the Broncos on Wednesday when they head to Duquesne.
