Here's my Michigan-Eastern Michigan personal anecdote: after dinner in Ann Arbor my wife wanted to show me a Christmas-lit tree. Unbeknownst to her, on the way to the tree we drove by the Crisler Arena, square in the middle of traffic for this game. And this is why we never go downtown anymore.
Maybe the score is why EMU will stop going to Michigan for a while, at least until they fall back to "decent B1G team" status. Right now they cannot be touched. I will say that their brief 6-2 lead was kind of neat, even though it was followed up by a devastating 20-0 Wolverines run. And other than the bright yellow shoes, little else shone through. Daylen Harrison got 13 points, taking 15 shots to get there, and Glenn Bryant helped out with 10 points.
And yes, the tree was kind of cool. Anyways, two unwinnable games for EMU down, one to go (Kentucky, January 2). Up next for the 6-4 Eagles is a home game against Oakland on Saturday.
