Ball State 62, South Dakota 51

All those turnovers didn't do them much good, but after being tied at halftime BSU did everything else better: shooting, rebounding and defense. Chris Bond scored 11 points and brought down 11 rebounds. Majok Majok was a point away from another MMDD: 9 points and 16 rebounds. Jauwan Scaife didn't shoot entirely well but landed with 14 points, six rebounds and three assists.

Ball State is now 4-4 and will rematch South Dakota, this time at their place, next Saturday. Because when you are handed a chance to play South Dakota multiple times, you do it.
